In other tax filing news

SimpleFile services will be opening on March 9, 2026 this year, which is a little later than previous years. Check your CRA account or mail in early March to see if you’re invited.

If you don’t get an invitation but you have a lower income and a simple tax situation, you may still be able to use SimpleFile Digital. Go to SimpleFile services and try our new questionnaire (available starting on February 23, 2026) to find out more.

Additional resource

The CRA offers self-serve options for accessible formats of its forms and publications. You can download certain large print PDFs or e-text formats directly from Canada.ca. If you can’t find the format you need, you can also order it using our online form.
