    We recently sent you an invitation to participate in the Canadian Survey on Business Conditions (CSBC), conducted by Statistics Canada in collaboration with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. If you have already completed the online questionnaire, please accept our thanks and disregard this notice. If not, there is still time to participate.
     
    Your Voice Matters
     
    As COVID-19 continues to disrupt economies around the world, it is essential to have current data to fully understand the extent of the impact on businesses in Canada, and for making informed decisions in the weeks and months ahead.

    Many of our regional business and industry association partners have also launched surveys within their own markets. While we recognize the importance of regional based data, our collective focus must now turn to a comprehensive national data strategy. As the largest business association in Canada, we are in the best position to lead and coordinate this Canada-wide strategy, integrating both regional and sector based data.

    As a member of the Canadian Chamber network, your participation is invaluable, and never has it been more important to have your say. Governments, chambers and associations will use the data to help them devise strategies for the survival and continuity of businesses of all sizes, from all sectors, across all regions of Canada, and to map a way forward for a strong and speedy recovery after the crisis.  
     
    To be able to gather the most robust data, we encourage you to share this survey with your colleagues and/or members (in the case of associations or chambers).

    This survey is conducted under the authority of the Statistics Act, which ensures that the information you provide will be kept confidential, and used only for statistical and research purposes. Information from partially completed or unsaved questionnaires may also be retained.
