    Event Description:

    Come celebrate the longest day of the year early!


    A community wide event offering a little something for everyone from activities and food vendors on 50 Ave S - road closure between 48th & 49th street, Sidewalk Sale in the parking lot beside Western Financial, sales & promotions at participating businesses.

    Traditional Hand Games demonstration from 4 -9 beside Greyhound - Come and try your hand at the games. Drum Dance to Follow!

    Bring the whole family out to enjoy summer and support the community that we love. Food donations will be accepted at 50 Ave S to help support the Food Bank.

    We are excited to be hosting the first annual Traditional Handgame Festival.  For more information checkout the Facebook page.  There will also be drummers and Fort Nelson Aboriginal Friendship Society will be setting up to celebrate.  All of this taking place in the lot between Greyhound and the old True Value Building.  
    Participating Vendors Include:

Participating businesses include: A&W, Boston Pizza, Boondocks, City Furniture, CMP, Home Hardware, Down to Earth, Fort Hotel, Fort Pizza, Fort Nelson Pharmacy IDA, Gold Fever, Dollar Store, Metalic Safety, Northern Store, Overwaitea, Pet Pa's, Style-Rite, Purple Door,  To Dye For Hair Salon & Tanning, Warehouse One, Speirling images, Whimsy Flowers, Woodlands Inn.
    Food Vendors, Wagon & Surrey Rides and Traditional Handgame Demonstration followed by Drum Dance on 50th Street in front of Greyhound. Food Vendors include: Chigs Food Wagon, Schneiders Popcorn, Marty's Hotdogs, Purple Door. Surrey & Wagon Rides by Double Springs Carriage Rides
    Kick off to the Northern Nite Market which will take place Wed from 6-9 pm at the Visitor Centre starting June 15.
