    Important Dates to Note:
    • Candidate Nominations Open - Sept. 1, 2026
    • Candidate Nominations Close - Sept. 11, 2026
    • Campaign period starts - Sept. 19, 2026
    • Advance Voting - Oct. 10, 2026 (8 am -8 pm)
    • General Voting Day - Oct. 17, 2026 (8 am - 8 pm)

    This year the Fort Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce will host a neutral online repository of candidate profiles to provide voters an accessible source of information.

    Participation by Candidates is voluntary.  Candidates may submit an optional photograph along with a statement of up to 1000 characters and contact details (email, website, phone)

    Candidate submissions must be received by the end of the nomination period (September 1 - 11, 2026) and may be sent by the digital form or by returning the hard copy Candidate Profile Form to the Chamber through email or drop off at the Chamber office.  5500 Alaska Hwy - West Side of the Recreation Centre
