2016 Business & Community Excellence Awards: 2/23/2017

Wednesday, February the 22^nd  was a special night for Fort Nelson. Hosted at the Phoenix Theatre, the 22^nd annual Fort Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce Business and Community Excellence Awards gave the community a chance to come together in celebration of businesses and individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference in our lives.

The recipients of the 2016 Business & community Excellence Awards are:

• Citizen of the Year Award:  Kim Eglinski
• Business of the Year: Dalex Automotive Services
• Customer Service Excellence - Business: Down to Earth Health Shop
• Customer Service Excellence – Individual:  Amanda Dawn Leblanc
• Educator of the Year: Genevieve Dogherty
• Entrepreneur of the Year: Dan’s Pub
• Volunteer of the Year: Cyndi Hopkins
• Athlete of the Year: Mike Irwin
• Youth of the Year: Leila Childs
• Public Services Award: Dr. Marius Mostert
