BC Chamber partners with BC Business : 6/12/2017

The BC Chamber of Commerce has partnered with BC Business Magazine to bring a new depth to efforts to drive greater economic success in British Columbia.

The Fort Nelson Chamber of Commerce along with the Dawson Creek and Tumbler Chambers met with Val Litwin, BC Chamber CEO to discuss the unique needs of northern and rural communities at the BC Chamber AGM. We stressed that businesses operating in rural and remote communities face challenges that are different than those in urban areas and there is a need to ensure all business in BC is represented at the provincial level.    

Mr. Litwin has accepted our invitation to visit Fort Nelson in October and we look forward to having more in depth conversations with members on the issues and how, through our partnership, the BC Chamber can support business in NE BC.  

We congratulate The BC Chamber of Commerce and BCBusiness on their partnership and look forward to working with them to achieve their goal to "break out of the Lower Mainland bubble and connect with businesses throughout the province".
