The Fort Nelson timber supply area (TSA) occupies British Columbia’s northeast corner. Covering about 9.8 million hectares, it includes the communities of Prophet River, Fort Nelson, Toad River and Muncho Lake. The Fort Nelson TSA is administered by the Fort Nelson Natural Resource District.

Fort Nelson TSA’s current allowable annual cut (AAC) is 1,625,000 cubic metres, effective November 10, 2006. Generally, a new AAC is set at least once every 10 years.

Feedback is welcome on any issues related to the timber supply review for the Fort Nelson TSA.  Public input is vital to the timber supply review process.
