Hydraulic Fracturing and Fracture Fluid Information Site.

As of Jan. 1, 2012, public disclosure for hydraulic fracturing fluid is mandatory in British Columbia. By law, a list of ingredients used must be uploaded to the registry within 30 days of finishing completion operations - the point in time when a well is able to produce gas.

The website for disclosure is a project of the BC Oil & Gas Commission and is intended to provide objective information on Hydraulic Fracturing. Fracturing Fluids, Groundwater and Surface water protection and related oil and gas activities in Canada.
