Fort Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce has a board of 13 members with two additional seats occupied by largest employers or largest tax contributer to the Northern Rockies. Presently those two seats are filled by Canfor and Spectra Energy.

In the office, there is one full time and one part time person, increasing to four additional people during the operation of the seasonal Visitor Centre.
